Our Two Weeks Old babies

Second weeks onwards, they are more alert and started to smile more often too.

Jayden doesn't like to bath while Sheila enjoys herself so much.

We visited Dr Loh when we went back to RH for Jayden's follow-up.

Daryl's siblings have arrived....

Daryl's siblings, Jayden and Sheila, have arrived 2 weeks earlier. We were all not prepared cos we have chose the delivery date to be on 25 May 09, but mummy has dilated further on 11 May 09 and gynae suggest to have an emergency delivery on 11 May 09 nite.
A brief recount on my birth story:
1. At week 28 (23 March 2009), slight discharge and supposed to see Dr Loh on that day. She did a check and found that I am 2 cm dilated. She called Dr Tony Tan for second opinion. Dr Tan commented I should be able to last for another 8 weeks. Dr Loh wanted me to be on bed rest from that day onwards and see her very 2 weeks.
2. On 11 May 2009, slight discharge again. I called RH and leave a message for Dr Loh. Her assistance called me later in the morning to see Dr Loh at 1pm. I had a feeling, I may need to deliver them soon. So brought along my hospital bag and Stemcord barang after having my pizza lunch. True enough after she did a check, she crossed her hands and told me "TODAY IS THE DAY!" because I am 4 cm dilated plus both babies are above 2kg. Immediately she arrange for me to admit into RH and since I had a cup of milo at 1pm, I had to fast till 7pm for the emergency C-section. We had a mixed feeling, excited that we are going to see our babies soon; but they will be preterm babies?!?! Are they fully developed? I stayed in the ward since 2pm while Terence went to waterloo temple. At 6pm, the nurses prepared me for the operation and push me to the operating theatre around 6.30pm. At 7pm, epidural was administered, quite painful. All of us waited and waited for Dr Loh till I almost fell asleep. The nurse told me, she was help up by another emergency case. At 7.55pm, she arrived and the nurse brought Terence into the operating theatre. At 8pm, Jayden was delivered and Sheila was 2 mins later than him.
Thanks God, both of them are healthy and of good weight as a 35 weekers according to the PD.

A big THANK YOU to all the vistors and lovely gifts.
