Daryl

It has been awhile sinceI last updated my blog because I was too busy at work. I think I have to quickly jot down this conversation with Daryl before I forget. Lately, he has been asking me, "Mama, how old am I?" As usual, I replied "4 years old." He will go "4 again? When will I be 5? 6? 10? 11?" In fact, son you are only 3 plus to be exact. Why are you in a hurry to grow older? Mummy is hoping that my age will remain stagnant while you keep hoping to get older soon. Hahaha...so contradicting right? Think you will regret when you start Primary one.

Sometime he is so naughty and mischievous, driving us nuts. But the next minute, he can just turn into an angel and bring us laughter.

Prawn noodle feast.

Long awaited home-cooked Prawn noodle. It has been almost 3 years since my bil cooked prawn noodles. He and Eve were very excited and busy the whole day. They went to Tiong Bahru market early in the morning to buy the ingredients and back to Serangoon market to collect the pork ribs, pig tails, liver, etc. The preparation work was very tedious too, that's why can only afford to cook once in a blue moon. heheheh....

Jayden and Sheila are 11 months old...

Time flies, another month to 1 year old. Now they are very busy exploring the whole house, including climbing up stairs everyday. Of course, they also injured themselves more often from all the fallings. They will continue repeating their exploration and climbing, every failure seemed to motivate them to try more and more…… and they also learnt from each failure too. Besides, they also started to fight for attention, fight for toys, fight for food, fight with Daryl, etc. hahaha....sometime Daryl also had to call for help.

Jayden: 8 teeth, 8.8 kg, 74.5 cm long
Sheila : 6 teeth, 9.0 kg, 75 cm long

Food for the kids.

Mummy was supposed to make sushi for Daryl over this long weekend. But seemed like every nite we are dining out, really no time to make any. Hmmm.... how about a cake for tea then? Since Daryl loves Oreo alot and I managed to find a recipe for non-bake Oreo Cheese cake, so I decided to make one for the family. Phew, the cake turned out to be nice and the kids loved it.

And Jayden and Sheila had their salmon macoroni, at least a change from their usual porridge. But mummy had left them in the slow cooker for too long (cos we went out for long breakfast), end up they look like porridge too, so soft. hehee...

Babies bathing time.....

Hehehehee.....RA show time. Look at how they enjoyed themselves. Most of the time, we will bathe them separately. Only when daddy and mummy are around, then we will try to put both of them together and they really love "water-play".

An enjoyable and tiring Good Friday

At last, a long weekend that we have been looking forward to. Hope we could hav a good rest, especially mummy. BUT........on Good Friday morning, mummy woke up at 6.30am to get ready for an outing organized by .... not sure who, but definitely not our family. We supposed to meet at Henderson wave at 7.30am, but we only reached there at 8.15am, sorry that we were late. Since is so rushed, we had forgotten to bring along our camera, shall wait for our photographer to send us our pix. We walked through the bridge with 1 baby in the stroller and 1 in my sling, what a good exercise for me. We headed to Chinatown hawker centre for our yummy breakfast. We had porridge, raw fish, you tiao with kopi, braised duck, yam cakes, chwee kuey and chee cheong fun. Sigh...all the calorie burnt in the morning walk were less than what we gaining from the breakfast.
Yummy kopi with you tiao.

After bf, we drove to sentosa, where the kids had some free time at One 15 degree Marina while the adults had a rest.

After playing, the kids complaining hungry again. So we went to Dome at Dempsey for our LUNCH. We were amazing rite?!?
Daryl prefer to sit with all the children than with adults. Sheila woke up just in time for lunch while Jayden taking his nap. Sorry, no lunch for you, Jayden.

Daryl's favourite activity

As mentioned in my previous blog, Daryl is now busy with his blocks toy and here are some of his creations after watching the DVD. Everyday he will play with it before he sleeps and he will get very upset when we ask him clean-up.
