Daryl

It has been awhile sinceI last updated my blog because I was too busy at work. I think I have to quickly jot down this conversation with Daryl before I forget. Lately, he has been asking me, "Mama, how old am I?" As usual, I replied "4 years old." He will go "4 again? When will I be 5? 6? 10? 11?" In fact, son you are only 3 plus to be exact. Why are you in a hurry to grow older? Mummy is hoping that my age will remain stagnant while you keep hoping to get older soon. Hahaha...so contradicting right? Think you will regret when you start Primary one.

Sometime he is so naughty and mischievous, driving us nuts. But the next minute, he can just turn into an angel and bring us laughter.

Jayden and Sheila are 11 months old...

Time flies, another month to 1 year old. Now they are very busy exploring the whole house, including climbing up stairs everyday. Of course, they also injured themselves more often from all the fallings. They will continue repeating their exploration and climbing, every failure seemed to motivate them to try more and more…… and they also learnt from each failure too. Besides, they also started to fight for attention, fight for toys, fight for food, fight with Daryl, etc. hahaha....sometime Daryl also had to call for help.

Jayden: 8 teeth, 8.8 kg, 74.5 cm long

Sheila : 6 teeth, 9.0 kg, 75 cm long

New development.

Time flies and before I noticed, they are already 10 mths old and Daryl is going to be 4 years old in 4 mths time.

Sheila started crawling only when she was nine months old while Jayden started crawling 1 mth earlier than her. Now, both of them busy exploring every corner in the house. They have very short nap in the day because they are too busy crawling, standing and learning to walk. They started semi-solid since six months old and they enjoyed eating very much more than their milk. Even when they are full, they are still staring hard at our food and wanted us to feed them. Keeping my fingers crossed now, don't mind them to keep eating since they are smaller babies.

Jayden has his 1st two bottom teeth growing since six month old, followed by the top 2 front teeth. Now the 3rd bottom tooth also popping out. Whereas Sheila has her 2 bottom teeth growing up followed by the top front teeth only when she was nine months old. Jayden babble more than Sheila and he kept making the sound "papapapa....dadada...dea..dea..dea" Sheila prefers to SCREAM. Sheila is more aggressive than Jayden, she loves to snatch things away from Jayden. Sigh...totally don't behave like a gal.

As for our big gor gor, Daryl. He is now very crazy with his blocks toy. Playing with it day and nite almost everyday. Though is very messy after the play, but we are very impressed with his creativity now. We think it is really a good investment as it helps in cognitive development, language and mathematics, creativity, fine motor skills, plus most important, keep him occupied while we busy with Jayden and Sheila. hehehee..

He enjoyed playing with his siblings too but at times he may also bullied them. Sigh...he is just a 4 years old boy, what can we expect from him. But one thing for sure, he LOVES THEM.

Daryl has started his music class since Jan, so far he does enjoy the class but still insist we stay in the class with him, just can't be independent! He is also taking Speech and Drama and Arts enrichment classes in his childcare centre. Lately, he started to correct our english pronounciation as well, hahaha. Think we have to be more careful now, our dear son is watching us, better be a good role model for him. Ops, he also started to speak more mandarin too. He is in nursery 2 now and the childcare centre starts to train them to write (last year was more on artwork and play).

Milestone.....

Jayden can SIT on his own? Ya, he is trying and he is doing better and better each day. This is the next accomplishment after flipping.
